DIRECTOR OF MEDIA & COMMUNICATIONSAmanda Wing aka Winger (she/her). I enjoy the creative process and working with teams in a sport I love!  Promoting our passions and working with NYGL this year gives our talented individuals much room to shine.  Working for ten years in project management with The Art Institutes helped me gain awareness for how new media formats would propel us over the last three decades. The social media changes foreshadowed for me to work in creative areas and ultimate frisbee--both passions of mine for a long time now!  Luckily, when I found a shiny sport called ultimate Frisbee in 1991 we didn’t even have websites for tournaments and no social media to make us look old school! Social media formats help our sport grow in ways we never imagined. NGYL would like to engage this creative realm with passion, respect, and honor!  I enjoy seeing the opportunities for womxn grow and so excited to see where it is blasting off to. Our team is excited to share amazing moments and creative enjoyment this year!
